Documents Required for VAT Registration (UAE)


All UAE based companies selling taxable goods or providing services above AED 375,000 (31,000 Monthly approx) will have to register for VAT. Further details are as following;

Registration Deadlines Dates

Revenue above AED 150 Million: October 31, 2017

Revenue above AED 10 Million: November 30, 2017

Revenue above AED 375,000: December 04, 2017


List of Documents Required for Registration

  1. Trade License

  2. Incorporation Certificate

  3. Memorandum of Association / Articles of Association

  4. Emirates ID / Passport Copies of All Partners

  5. Company Manager Details

  6. Copy of Passport and Emirates ID of the Manager

  7. Office Location Details

  8. Contact Details

  9. Company's Bank Account Details

  10. Business Activities Details

  11. Company's previous 12 months financial statements (Audited preferable but not mandatory)

  12. Projected financials for future

  13. GCC Related Business Activities Details including Imports/Exports

  14. Imports/Exports Related information (Non GCC)

  15. Customs Documents (If applicable)

Companies who opt to register as group may need to submit additional documents to prove their control over other businesses. There is no government fee on registration and can be done online through tax authority official website.
